Our Australian clients were looking for a pied a terre in central London. Their brief was for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, located within a secure period building, in very good condition. The property needed to have high ceilings and good levels of light. We were tasked with focusing on only the very best parts of prime Central London and close to some green space.
We worked with our clients over a 3 month period during which we provided them with a huge amount of research on different areas, pricing and a careful selection of shortlisted apartments, making it worthwhile for a family member to make the long trip from Sydney to London to view the shortlist. His visit was for only a couple of days so we had to make the most of his time. After covering multiple areas and price points the family decided to purchase this fantastic 1st floor apartment on Cheniston Gardens, an ideal location in Kensington, close to both Hyde Park and Holland Park. The flat is wonderfully bright, has lovely high ceilings and sash windows. The property is in very good condition having been recently refurbished, providing the perfect combination of old and new. To top it off the flat has two balconies.
Professional representation counts. We were initially the under bidder in a competitive sealed bid, however the vendor switched to our clients offer after a couple of weeks as the other buyer was not being as organised and prepared as we presented our client. Needless to say our clients were delighted that we were able to agree terms at a lower level than the competition.
