The Challenge

Our client reengaged our services to help navigate the busy market, give expert guidance on the different areas and pricing, and to manage the transaction from beginning to end. Our challenge was to find a larger apartment in a more central location, with good connections for work and close to amenities. The focus was to find a two-bed apartment, in good condition, and located on an upper floor of a well-managed building.

 

The Perfect Conclusion

We undertook a thorough search of the market, previewing over 40 options on behalf of our client. We then spent time showing our clients the best options across the different neighbourhoods. As the search evolved, Bermondsey became the focus due to its excellent transport links, as well as the shops and restaurants on Bermondsey Street. We identified a property in a modern building off Bermondsey Street that offered excellent space, and stunning views towards the City. Whilst the property required some light renovation works, it was a compromise our client was willing to make to get the location and space.

We entered negotiations with the seller, highlighting our clients’ strengths as an excellent buyer and successfully agreed terms to purchase the property at 4% below the guide price.
