The Challenge

Our US client was looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the SE1 area south of the river. The property needed to be in good condition, ideally with a porter and walking distance to London Bridge. The budget for the purchase was £1 million.

We successfully agreed the purchase of this perfectly proportioned 2 bedroom apartment in the newly developed Taper Building on Long Lane, located just off trendy Bermondsey Street. We saved our clients £110,000 from the asking price, equating to a 10.4% discount. The unit was also the best remaining two bedroom apartment in the development, high up on the 4th floor with an unobstructed, far-reaching southerly view.
