Our clients had purchased what they thought would be their forever home on Canfield Gardens in 2018.
South Hampstead, NW6
Our clients had purchased what they thought would be their forever home on Canfield Gardens in 2018. Relocation to Asia meant that they no longer needed their London base and after a period renting the property out, they decided they wanted to sell. Market conditions have changed significantly since 2018, with higher rates of stamp duty, and the introduction of a High Value Council Tax Surcharge on properties valued over £2 million coming in from April 2028.
We brought the property to market in a discreet manner, keeping it off the market and all portals, but ensuring all our contacts were aware the house was for sale. Our network is huge – covering local and more mainstream selling agents and buying agents, giving our clients the right exposure without the risk of the property going stale on a portal. Over a 12-month period, we conducted over 25 viewings and once market conditions improved post budget in 2025, we started to receive serious offers. Work continued right up until the 11th hour, with more than one interested buyer trying to purchase the house.
Results are built on trust. We worked patiently and diligently over a 12-month period to ensure the house sold to the right buyer, for the best possible price.
