The recently published Hurun Global Rich List 2015 found that China accounts for 23% of the world\u2019s billionaires. With a projected annual GDP growth rate of over 7%, high net worth individuals in China will be an increasing source of investment flows into London\u2019s property market. Recent research commissioned by international law firm Pinsent Masons estimates that over \u00a336bn of investment is expected to flow from China into UK real estate between now and 2025, and by 2025 annual Chinese investment into the UK will reach \u00a330bn. Hurun has also revealed that one in every three wealthy Chinese owns property overseas. These properties are mainly for residential use, property investment, or a place for their children to stay while studying abroad. Britain is one of the top 10 favoured destinations by Chinese property investors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro2\"><b><a id=\"two\"><\/a><\/b><strong>Spending will not be limited to luxury consumer goods \u2013 many are now looking to purchase big ticket items such as prime London property<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interest in the London real estate sector is growing and is not just limited to individual\u00a0investors \u2013 China Minsheng Investment Corp has recently chosen London for its first major international investment project. It will be leading a consortium investing over \u00a32bn in London\u2019s financial district. There is recognition from individual\u00a0and corporate investors that London property is a hugely attractive asset class. What\u2019s important though is that individual buyers are properly advised and represented.
